Eucharistic Miracle Displays

Thank you for a moment of your time.  I believe every parish, and even every home, will benefit from a Eucharistic Miracle display.  Blessed Carlo Acutis cataloged many Eucharistic Miracles before passing away at the age of 15; his holy life continues to inspire many people and his cause for canonization is underway!  Each story can be printed and displayed on a 11” by 17” print.

As a team member of St. Paul Street Evangelization in southern Arizona, I developed a display for these prints.  Many people have been impressed.  A picture is worth a thousand words!

I’m a University of Arizona doctor of pharmacy graduate, class of 2006.  I’ve worked in hospice, LTC consulting, mail-order, Medication Therapy Management (MedicineReviews.org), as a community / retail pharmacist, and most recently as a clinical hospital pharmacist.  I regularly wear the brown scapular.  This scapular has often been visible to my colleagues... moreover, before beginning work at the hospital, I notified my employer that I am Catholic and would not facilitate dispensing substances for an abortion.  I suppose news of this traveled and one colleague consistently treated me poorly, making it difficult for me to carry out my responsibilities and creating strife within the team.  After five months, I decided to resign, having reported my concerns to the director with little change in mutual respect and appreciation so that trust might flourish for optimum patient care.

It was depressing.  On October 12th, three days after sending notice of resignation, I stayed in bed late trying to sort through my emotions.  I offered a rosary and decided I would try to follow-through with an endeavor to bring the plan I had for the Eucharistic Miracle displays to fruition.  I discussed the plan with my wife Maria, and grabbing the display I had used several times before during St. Paul Street Evangelization activities, sat down in the family room beside my mother to explain the plans and also seek her advice.  As I sat rocking in the chair, I noticed the date on the last Eucharistic panel of the display… October 12th.  It was the day the Bishop of the Diocese of Chilpancingo-Chilapa announced through a Pastoral Letter the recognition of the Eucharistic Miracle that occurred at Tixtla! We were all amazed that it was the exact same day 10 years earlier!

God has often used special dates in my life to signify His loving care, which I’ve written about in a free book you can download at LifeisSacred.net.  Nonetheless, my amazement had only begun… later that evening, tuning to EWTN News, I realized that October 12th is also Carlo Acutis’ feast day!  Neither of these dates were something I was conscious of, nor something I had planned for when I decided to give notice of resignation on October 8th

God works in marvelous ways!  These correlations have deepened my conviction to pursue this endeavor.  I hope you too will be inspired and consider a survey answering a few questions to help me guage interest in this project.

I have requested permission to reproduce the images by contacting the estate of Carlo Acutis, sending an email to info@carloacutis.com, and have received permission, providing that I do not do this work for a profit.  In this respect, I have calculated the material costs and the amount and cost of labor in producing a display, the latter with respect to minimum wage for secretarial work and in accordance with an average hourly wage for carpentry work, and have listed those expenses below for your consideration.  Nonetheless, you can order only the display unit without the images if you’d prefer to print and laminate them yourself.  To examine the survey questions, please visit: PureHeartCulture.org/EM_Survey.html

Thank you for your consideration and time.  May God richly bless you!
